The Medical Coding Career Starter Course is a gentle, beginner‑friendly introduction to medical coding—perfect for anyone brand new or exploring a career change. Over 6 weeks of live, instructor‑led classes, you’ll learn what medical coding is, how ICD‑10‑CM and CPT work, how to read provider documentation, and how to code common diagnoses and procedures. You’ll also see how medical terminology connects to coding, how coders support the revenue cycle, and how coding works in an AI‑supported environment.
Your course price includes access to online ICD‑10‑CM and CPT coding manuals for the full duration of the program, along with a course workbook, live meeting links, and access to the video library and learning system.
Classes meet Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:00 PM CST, from August 18 through September 25, 2026, with each session lasting 90 minutes.
