Discover Medical Coding

Discover Medical Coding is a beginner‑friendly, 4‑week introductory course designed for anyone curious about medical coding and wanting to explore the field before committing to a full program. Whether you’re a complete beginner, a career changer, or someone working in healthcare who wants to understand coding better, this course gives you a clear, supportive starting point.

Through live, instructor‑led classes held every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM CST, you’ll learn the foundations of ICD‑10‑CM and CPT, understand how codes are used in real healthcare settings, and practice coding simple diagnoses and procedures. You’ll also receive access to online coding manuals, guided worksheets, and replay access so you can learn at your own pace.

This course is intentionally designed to help you try medical coding before you commit. You’ll get a realistic look at what coders do, how the coding manuals work, and whether this career path is the right fit for you — all in a supportive, no‑pressure learning environment.

By the end of the course, you’ll feel confident navigating the basics of medical coding and will know exactly what to expect if you choose to continue into the Medical Coding Starter Course.
